Adenocarcinoma is a type of cancer that originates in glandular cells, which are cells that produce mucus or other bodily fluids. It is the most common type of cancer in many organs, including the lungs, breast, colon, and pancreas. 

Causes 

The exact cause of adenocarcinoma is unknown, but risk factors include: Smoking, Exposure to asbestos or other carcinogens, and Family history of adenocarcinoma.
